As this company is located in Spain, the following section will describe the usage of data by Universal Pay:
Universal Pay is allowed to use the data to (i) facilitate a correct execution of the contract by UniversalPay; (ii) comply with any other legal or brand standards obligations; (iii) respond to information requirements made by the State Bodies, Counties, Provinces or other local entities; (iv) to comply with court rulings; (v) complete the credit assessment and services management, audit, regulatory compliance, management and customer service (vi) to prevent crimes; (vii) verify identities; and (viii) to recover amounts due.
Where the provision of the Services owed by UniversalPay to the Merchant under this Agreement requires that the information, including data, may be transferred to or processed by affiliates within EVO Group (https://www.evopayments.eu/home/), UniversalPay ensures that such information are transferred or processed under the same terms of this agreement and solely for the purpose aforementioned and that the respective affiliates comply with all the requirements of applicable data protection law and its provisions of development (including perceptive authorization if necessary) .
For the avoidance of doubt, UniversalPay agrees and acknowledges that it remains fully liable for any services performed and actions by affiliates in the EVO Group. In case that the information is transferred or processed outside the European Union, Universal Pay also ensures that the recipients of such data have implemented an adequate level of protection.
